Automotive Service Technician

$33 to $43 a hour 

Total potential based on hourly rate + performance bonus + retention bonus equivalent

Lots of work, Fully HVAC Facility, and Paid Training!!

Pay based on multiple factors.  Some of these include:  Current OEM Certification Level, Years of Experience, ASE Certifications, and Daily Flag Production abilities

Below example is assuming Toyota Certification levels and daily flag production

Flag Hour Rate =

>>>> Certified Technician (8+ hrs a day) = $30

>>>> Expert Technician (9+ hrs a day) = $34

>>>> Master & MDT Technician (10+ hrs a day) = $38

Performance Bonus (paid as increase to flag hour for the pay period) =

>>>>>>>> +$1 if between 12.0 - 12.5 OR

>>>>>>>> +$2 if 12.51 or above

Retention Bonus = $5,000 paid semi-annually (pro-rated for 1st Six Months of employment)

>>>>>>>>>>>>> Work Jan 1 thru June 30, get paid $5,000 on 12/1

>>>>>>>>>>>>> Work July 1 thru Dec 31, get paid $5,000 on 6/1

If avg'd 10 flag hours a day for 5 days a week for 52 weeks, this retention bonus is equivalent to an additional $3.85 per hour!!!!!!!!!!

If avg'd 12.51 flag hours a day for 5 days a week for 52 weeks, this retention bonus is equivalent to an additional $3.07 per hour!!!!!!!!!!!

• What you bring: 

• High school diploma or GED
• Although equivalent education/experience will be considered, ideally you have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and/or training
• Operator Driver’s License
• State Inspection License
• Solid skills and a strong work ethic 

What you’ll be doing:

• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
• Provide labor estimates and communicate additional service requests to the Service Advisor
• Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training and keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
