Get ready to soar to new heights in your career! The Jim Norton Auto Group is looking for the best, most highly driven Sales Director to join Oklahoma's largest automotive group, forecasting over 15,000 units for 2020.  Substantial income potential.  The Jim Norton Auto Group has been doing business in the Tulsa area for over 80 years.  10 years automotive experience, including managerial roles in New Car, Pre-owned and Finance department are mandatory. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of their team members and measuring the performance of the employees in the department.  With sales volume on the rise, we need a department leader with a proven track record of exceptional customer service, sales skills and training abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily sales consultant warm-up meetings – be prepared.
  • Conduct an inventory walk to review all new arrivals for both new and used.
  • Daily one on ones with your team – reviewing salesperson work plans and forecasts.
  • Product training – all consultants must be certified within (6) months of hire.
  • Utilize CRM to track all active and non-active customers.
  • Ensure the completion of Manager follow-up phone calls to confirm all appointments and load in CRM.
  • Execute the sales process as trained by IAS and hold salespeople and management accountable.
  • Attend “save-a-deal” meetings when called by GM or F&I Director.
  • Handle sales volumes of 600 units.
  • Expedite follow-up on all customer concerns and close cases according to Toyota policy.
  • At the end of each business day, forward completed delivery log to Dealer and GM.
  • Ensure the review and sign off on daily salesperson check-out reports.
  • Make sure all confirmed appointments are logged in CRM for the next day and board updated.
  • Sales Manager must sign off on all new vehicle deliveries.
  • Responsible for all recruiting and training of assigned teams.
  • Control inventory: aged, display, showroom, lot, bullpen, days’ supply, delivery bay, and detail.
  • Maintain a positive, clean, and well-merchandised work environment.

Compensation:

Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.

Physical Requirements:

  • The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM in intensity.
  • Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
  • Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
  • Frequent – Repetitive motion.
  • Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20lbs.

Physical Working Conditions:

This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to: temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dust associated with operating an auto dealership.
