New Sales Manager -Jim Norton Chevrolet

We are looking for a New Automotive Sales Manager for the Jim Norton Auto Group who is energetic, passionate, highly motivated and ready to guide an outstanding sales team to success. Minimum 5 years automotive management experience a must!  With sales volume on the rise, we need a leader with a proven track record of exceptional customer service, sales skills and training abilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training, and supervision of sales team
  • Maintains internal control over used vehicle inventory, appraising, wholesaling, and reconditioning
  • Monitors customer demand for used vehicles and maintaining inventory that mirrors this demand.
  • Monitor the active disposition of wholesale units
  • Assist in the financing and collection process
  • Achieve volume, gross, and inventory turn goals
  • Control selling expenses and maximize department profit
  • Facilitates engagement between departments
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive, clean and well-merchandised work environment, including showroom and lot display, merchandising, dress-code and ensuring all customer areas are kept well maintained.

Requirements

Minimum 5 Years Automotive Sales Management Experience an absolute must!

Experience, education and prior sales training are a PLUS.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.

Physical Requirements:

  • The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM in intensity.
  • Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
  • Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
  • Frequent – Repetitive motion.
  • Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20lbs.

Physical Working Conditions:

This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to: temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating and auto dealership.
