The Body Shop Technician will perform all frame, metal repairs and interior repairs on collision damaged vehicles consigned to the Body Shop.
Job Responsibilities
Operating knowledge in measuring systems
Diagnose and repair unibody structural damage
Diagnose and repair full frame vehicles
Replace body panels
Repair body panels
Replace damaged wiring harnesses, or reinstall harnesses after body repair
Remove and reinstall interiors
Attend weekly department meetings
Maintain clean work area
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the operation of a Service Department. This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Service Manager, Service Associates, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name a few.
Job Responsibilities
Pick up from and deliver customers to desired locations
Pick up and deliver vehicles to sublet vendors and customers as directed
Move vehicles from intake area to storage area
Move vehicles inside and outside of Service Department to help achieve production standards
Maintain a neat and orderly production and paint areas by sweeping, removal of trash and discarded parts as well as other actions required to maintain the appearance of the production and paint areas
Maintain other areas of the Service Department such as the offices, storage areas and around the outside
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
Save and tag all warranty parts for storage

Check tire pressure
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil
Add water to radiator and battery
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs

Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals

The Responsibilities:
Performing multipoint inspections and communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
Servicing universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using grease guns
Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles
Checking tire pressure, adding water to radiators, and replacing oil and air filters
Lubricating moving parts with specified lubricants
Draining oil from crankcases and refilling with oil
Inspecting all vehicles for additional repairs

Our Service Advisors are the face of our service department. That means greeting every customer with a smile and using your customer driven personality to understand their repair needs while making them feel confident that these repair needs will be met. You’ll also act as the liaison between the customer and our Service Technicians, ensuring you are keeping the customer up to date on repair times, estimates, and when the vehicle is ready for pick up.
On a typical day, this will include:

Sole responsibility of managing contracts in Transit as needed with a goal of 3 days for prime and 10 days for sub-prime contracts.
Work and manage cash sheet as needed to 100% of all listed less than 45 days.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have five (5) years automotive finance experience. Must be proficient in customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, motivation for sales. Auto sales experience a plus.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma a plus.
Must be able to learn quickly and demonstrate dedication to the job.

Move vehicles inside and outside of Service Department to help achieve production standards
Maintain a neat and orderly production and paint areas by sweeping, removal of trash and discarded parts as well as other actions required to maintain the appearance of the production and paint areas
Maintain other areas of the Service Department such as the offices, storage areas and around the outside
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
