Job Description

Job Purpose:

To keep all RENTAL Inventory ready for customer use and to assist Managers and sales people with delivery needs.

Duties:

  • Ensure the rental inventory is straight, filled, and in ready condition for customer use.
  • Detail all rental cars, inside and out.
  • Move vehicles to and from their destinations on our lot.
  • Responsible for driving to Quick Trip to fill all vehicles with gas.
  • Will put license plates on all new vehicles.
  • Will prep our SOLD CARS before delivering them to the Used Car Department.
  • Keep all vehicles from having dead batteries and empty fuel tanks.
  • Perform monthly random inventory audits at manager’s discretion.
  • Shuttle vehicles from detail to delivery and vice-versa when needed for sales people.
  • Ensure that the work area is always organized and kept clean.
  • Assist General Manager’s administrative assistant in duties when required.
  • Perform dealer trades by driving long distances when needed.
  • Adhere to the JNT dress code.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, able and willing to provide excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to learn quickly and demonstrate dedication to the job.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • The physical requirements of the position are Light to Medium Work.
  • Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
  • Frequent – Repetitive motion.
  • Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting (100 lbs.)
  • Frequent – Must be able to lift 15 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Constant – Required to stand for long periods of time.

 

Physical Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule:  Will work either from 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday, with an hour lunch break.  Will work every other Saturday on a rotating schedule.  (Example, If you work Saturday, you’ll be off Monday.  If you’re off Saturday, you’ll work all day Monday.)
  • This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to:  temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High school diploma a plus.
