Job Description


Goals for Position: To create a good impression for all customers by hospitably greeting and serving all customers visiting the dealership and strive to make their experience positive.  Must be up-beat and cheerful, hardworking, and a shining example of the Jim Norton Core Values (team work, integrity, urgency and attention to detail).



  • Make coffee, refill cookies, and make sandwiches and salads.
  • Restock the CAFÉ.
  • Maintains a professional/neat appearance (following JNT dress code standards) and a neat work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Negatives to Avoid:

  • Chit-chatting with sales reps and co-workers instead of attending to customers.
  • Unhelpful or unfriendly to customers



  • 2 Shifts available are M-F 6:30AM - 3:00PM AND M-F 11:00AM - 7:00PM.
  • Saturdays are a requirement (every 3rd Saturday 6 hour shift)



  • Positive, mature attitude, able and willing to provide excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to handle a high-paced working environment and work well with others in a small work space.
  • Must be able to learn quickly and demonstrate dedication to the job.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license and food handler’s permit.


Physical Requirements:

  • The physical requirements of the position are Light to Medium Work.
  • Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
  • Frequent – Repetitive motion.
  • Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting (100 lbs.)
  • Frequent – Must be able to lift 15 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Constant – Required to stand for long periods of time.


Physical Working Conditions:

  • This position is subject to inside working conditions including but not limited to: varying temperature changes, slightly elevated ambient noise levels.




  • High school diploma.
