JOB PURPOSE:

 

To provide the best customer service/satisfaction while maintaining dealership goals in profitability.

 

DUTIES:

 

  • Interacts with customers and understands their requirements
  • Provides suggestions and recommendations to customers regarding their vehicle.
  • Provides estimates of the cost and time needed for the repair / up-gradation of the vehicle.
  • Coordinates work processes with the technicians and other departments of the dealership.
  • Keeps up with market trends and prices and competitor strategies.
  • Negotiates with customer for prices.
  • Follow automobile industry safety norms and standards.
  • Responds to telephone inquiries and queries of customers.
  • Meets all assigned targets and objectives.
  • Makes evaluating reports for the establishment and attends training process for new products.
  • Comply with all safety and OSHA procedures and requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Sound understanding of all automotive functionalities
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for interacting with customers.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks
  • Ability to negotiate with customers
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

  • At least 2 years collision experience (Insurance or collision shop)
  • CCC or Mitchell estimating program experience

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

 

  • Ability to work outside (hot temperatures) and inside (air-conditioned areas) in various positions, including, but not limited to, sitting, stooping, standing, bending over, kneeling, squatting, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs/ladders, repetitive hand/finger movement, and pushing/pulling on a regular basis.
  • Be able to lift over 40-50 lbs. (frequently)

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:

 

  • Five-day work week
  • Paid monthly
  • Eligible for vacation after one year of continuous service
  • Bilingual preffered

 

**Must possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license**
